Survivor Pool League Platform
This is a serverless NFL survivor pool platform built with a React frontend, native Android app, and TypeScript/Node.js backend running on Azure Functions. It includes authentication, league and member management, weekly pick selection, pick summaries, sports data integration for games, times, odds and results, push notifications, email messaging, and administrative dashboards for managing league members and settings.
Users can create leagues, join existing leagues, and participate in multiple leagues at a time. They can switch between leagues to view picks, standings, and weekly results. League creators can configure leagues as public or private, with private leagues requiring a password to join. Premium leagues can also integrate with a payment processor to collect league entry fees.
A native Android app provides many of the same features as the web application, along with push notifications that remind users to submit their weekly picks and notify them of results. Both the web and mobile applications also include a chat feature that allows league members to communicate with one another and receive league messages.
